Broken legacy website
The old WordPress installation was no longer providing a reliable or modern experience.
We replaced Truro & District Motor Club’s ageing, broken WordPress website with a custom-designed Next.js platform — giving the club a modern frontend and an admin system for managing events, news, championships, teams and other website content.

Truro & District Motor Club runs motorsport events and club activities including the Tregrehan Speed Hillclimb, Portreath Sprint, TDMC Speed Championship and Truro Speed Academy. The club also publishes news and maintains information around its history, membership and events.
The previous WordPress website had become outdated and broken. Vertex Logics redesigned the experience from the ground up in Next.js, with each major page custom designed rather than forced into a generic template.
We also built a custom administration solution so the club can maintain events, news, championships, teams and other website content without relying on developers for normal updates.
The project was not simply a visual redesign. A motorsport club constantly changes throughout the season: event dates, championship information, news, entries and club updates all need to stay current.

The old WordPress installation was no longer providing a reliable or modern experience.

Events, championships, teams, news and historical club information all required different content structures.

The club needed to update website information internally as events and seasons progressed.

Different areas of the club needed individual layouts instead of one repeated template across every page.
We shifted implementation to WordPress and Elementor while preserving the custom creative direction and lead-generation objective. Lead capture was connected through embedded code so the website could continue feeding the client's lead process.

Rebuilt the website using Next.js as a modern replacement for the broken legacy WordPress frontend.

Designed key pages individually to match their specific content purpose instead of reusing one generic layout.

Created admin functionality for maintaining club events and publishing current event information.

Enabled the club to publish ongoing news, race updates and announcements from the backend. The live site currently maintains a dedicated news section.
We delivered a custom Next.js frontend with Tailwind CSS, MongoDB and a full CMS so the club can manage events, news, assets and other website content without relying on developers for day-to-day updates.
